You're driving on a highway. No
matter whether you left home pretty early or driving a high-end SUV and or you
are speeding, you are bound to see at least a couple of vehicles ahead of you.
Your competitive streak makes you overtake them (sometimes even from wrong
side!) only to find some more vehicles ahead of you! You again try to overtake
only to find someone still ahead of you! This goes on and on! Suddenly you realize
that in the heat of getting ahead, you completely missed the scenic beauty of
Khandala ghat!....
....Life is just like that!!
Reminds me of this: “Learn to pause...or nothing worthwhile will catch up to you.”

In India, for reasons unknown to me, we take being behind on a busy road, as an attestation of our inability to remain ahead of others. We seem to so disturbed by following some, that we completely forget that we are ahead of some others. A very unhealthy sense of competition is so ingrained in us, that we seem to ignore the minimum rules of a civility. What you observe on E-Way at Khandala, is an expression of our nation,in more ways than one.
